Tyler Vaughn '24 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing hockey since I was four years old. I love to play hockey and I want to see how far I can take my hockey dreams.  I would love to play hockey in college and be a student athlete.  

I am a team leader on the ice and in the room.  I have a quick wit to break the tension in the room but also have the confidence to speak up when things aren't going well.  I am very coachable and will be one of the hardest working players and recruits both on and off the ice and in the classroom.

I study hard and am working to exceed a 3.0 GPA.  I also help my association at learn to play hockey skates and with some of the U8 teams to pay it forward and pass the torch to the next generation of hockey players.

I want to study engineering in college with a focus on aerospace and or mechanical engineering.  I want to be a part of sending a man to Mars one day.  I want to find the right college match at the highest level of competition possible with a great engineering program to ultimately push myself in both areas, hockey and school.
