The biggest achievement of my career is making the team I am on now. The U18AA Ice Storm. Before this I have only played one year of travel hockey in Virginia but after moving to Florida and not being able to tryout for any other travel teams taking the year break from travel and just playing high school hockey changed me a lot.
I skated almost every day working to make myself better by doing private lessons and camps as well as just going skate and shoots by myself. Over the course of the break I took from travel I made great progress in my path to hopefully play a higher level of hockey. I have been a forward all of my career playing right wing most of the time and sometimes center (which is my personal favorite). But after I joined the team I am on now my coach saw my potential and moved me to the blue line. At first I was scared, not knowing if I would be good but I have worked and improved very well. I am now doing more private lessons with defense coaches and working to get better all the time.
