Ronin Alaniz '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ronin Alaniz and I have been in love with the game of hockey since I was 5 years old. My mentor was Ed Giacomin and his legacy has driven me to build my own. In the net I am very calm, cool, confident, and collected. Off the ice I work hard in the classroom as academics are the gateway to any future endeavor. I also work diligently in the gym to improve my physical skill and strength. It is my whole hearted belief that what is shown during a game is a culmination of the strengthening of mind and body. My goal is to also offer to my teammates a goaltender they can rely on no matter the circumstances.
