Kaleb Swenson '19 Recruiting Profile

I am currently enrolled in community college in Cedar Rapids. I had to take a year and step back from hockey to help rebuild my family’s home. Early august 2020 my home was hit by the destructive category 4 hurricane level storm in iowa. the same day I had been accepted to play in college At waldorf university. I still train in the gym 6 days a week alternating lifting and cardio, along with 4 days of on ice Including a lot of skating with university Of Iowa players. doing all this while working on an asphalt crew in the summers and rebuilding  my home. I’ve always been a quick stepped forward with good hands, good in the offensive zone corners, with a good puck moving hockey sense. I have a good work ethic and more then anything want To finish school. The time I’ve spent without competitive hockey has been the hardest time of my life that I would like to put past me.
