I have played in multiple youth leagues since the age of seven in the Bangor, ME area. I am told that I am very good around the net, that I read the game well and have an excellent "hockey sense." I enjoy skating and training with players who are better than me as I like to "rise to the challenge" and want to keep getting better. I am a "heads up" team player and like to work hard.
in the 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons I averaged 1.6 points a game in high school playing varsity for the Hampden Academy Broncos.
In 2019 I played center position on the Maine Jr. Blacks Bears travel team and was selected to play for the Maine Stars in the Summer Jamboree tournament featuring teams from northern New England. In that series I earned 21 points over the five game series which the Stars ultimately won. In the fall of 2019 I attended the Maine NED tryouts and was selected to attend the NEDC in March of 2020.
I served as Captain for my Bantam Team for the U14 season 2017 -2018. In the 2018-19 high school season, as a first year student, I was selected to the state of Maine High School Rookie Team.
In the upcoming months I hope to attend 2020 Boston Hockey Night, Andrew's Hockey prep camp and Showcase, and possible attend 1 or 2 Pro Ambition programs to further my skills. Beginnining in August of 2020 I will also be playing for the Maine Moose travel team.
I am looking to play all four years at the high school level although I am interested in the possibility of attending a prep school. Concurrently, I hope to also play on a full or half season travel team. Following high school / prep school I desire to play juniors and move into college hockey.
In school I have a 91 GPA. Looking ahead to college, I am most interested in pursuing a degree in Secondary Education with the intent to return as a high school teacher and coach. In 2017, I traveled with my family on a mission trip to Kenya where I assisted in an orphanage and helped my parents teach first aid to teachers and school children.
