I am a left-handed defenseman. My strengths are that I am a hard worker and I listen to my coaches, adjusting my strategy and techniques based on their feedback. When I have time and space, I skate up the puck; otherwise, I maintain a strategy of protecting the defensive zone. I win most, if not all, my battles in the defensive end. My turns are very solid and I am able to get forechecking opponents off my back via turns. I do not try to force the puck through an opponent and will wait until I see a teammate that is open to pass the puck. I play very physically and move opponents out of the “house”. I use my body when I am in the corners and when opponents are on the rush. As far as what makes me different from other players, I am “very coachable,” have a track record of consistent improvement including jumping levels over short periods, and am extremely dedicated to working hard to pursue my passion and aspiration of playing NCAA hockey.
