Playing High School and College hockey has always been a dream of mine. I lived in North Carolina and have been playing for the Cape Fear Warriors out of Ft. Bragg, NC for over 9 years. My goal is to play D1 college hockey. I understand the amount of effort and hard work it takes to be able to compete at that level, and I am willing to work hard to achieve my goals. Good grades are very important to me and I take my academics very seriously. I work as hard in school as I train athletically. My level of commitment and dedication is high in school and on the rink. I would like coaches to see that I can stay focused on tasks at hand and be successful with them. Should I have a bad game or practice it encourages me to work harder rather than giving up, because I learn from my mistakes. I spread positivity and encourage teammates rather than pointing fingers and putting teammates down. I spend hours at home shooting pucks, in the gym, or with trainers on the ice working to improve my skills. This is why I feel like I'm different from other recruits in character, athletics, and academics.
