Personal Statement

My name is Logan Graham. I am currently enrolled in as many honors level courses as possible, play for my varsity High School hockey team, the Plymouth South Panthers, and play for the East coast Militia club team. I have very good grades and even have the highest GPA on the hockey team for my Freshman year. I hope to be a part of the National Honors Society as soon as I can. I also wish to play college hockey because, honestly, I love the sport and want to continue playing for as long as possible. But hockey just isn't fun for me, it's a way of life. The sport and my coaches have taught me many life skills and lessons such as the importance of teamwork and discipline. I wish to keep learning lessons from the sport that will help me later in life with whatever carrier I end up choosing. Currently I am not set in stone but I either want to be a lawyer or politician. Both of these jobs have jumped out at me for quite some time due to the fact that I love politics and law, and they do pay pretty well, and honestly I just want to be able to provide for the family I hope to have.

Hockey Prospect Showcase provides boys ages 15-18 the unique opportunity to be evaluated by coaches from some of the top programs in college hockey. Each prospect will be assigned a team after registration and will have the opportunity to participate in 4 games, 1 practice and a recruiting seminar. The day program will run from 9am-6pm.

ActivitiesMultiple years of advanced clubs for people who score exceptional on MCAS, In 8th grade I was identified as a class leader and had the pleasure of eating breakfast with the superintendent of Plymouth Schools, Gary Maestas. During this breakfast we discussed school safety. I pointed out the flaws in the school system's "safe spot" procedure and my ideas of a more proactive approach were used to implement the ALICE procedure put in place today, student council starting sophomore year
