My name is Sheamus Foley and I aspire to play Division I hockey at a competitive college. At a young age, I fell in love with the game because it’s one of the most competitive sports.
I play defense for my hockey IQ, good body positioning and my elite shot. I’m always looking for the breakout to get the offense moving and see my teammates score. My best games have nothing to with the score, but the level of competition I’m facing. Making in game adjustments is what I excel at and look forward to bringing this skill to a team.
As a teammate, I’m a leader and role model who is always communicative on the ice. I like nothing more than to see my teammates excel at their game. My top strengths are not only hockey IQ and physicality, but I’m a very coachable athlete and student. You won’t catch me making the same mistake twice. I’ve been so lucky to have the support of my parents who have allowed me to take different hockey skills, and athletic training since I first started playing.
I’m confident, athletic, coachable and don’t worry, I always pick up pucks.
