Dear Coaches,
My name is Bryce Moe, I am currently a starter for the Alpena High School Varsity Wildcats. I began skating at 3 years old and haven’t gotten off the ice since. I started at the club level with the Alpena Hockey Association as toddler working my way up to multiple travel teams through the Alpena Hockey Association prior to the varsity team. I was undecided about playing hockey at the next level until recently as I was focused on getting started with my education after high school graduation. I graduate in just 5 months. So, I am playing catch up in the recruitment world. Recent opportunities speaking with a handful coaches has sparked my interest to keep playing now at the Collegiate level with consideration of a Junior program. I am currently practicing 5 days a week with 4 days a week off ice work outs. Last year our team won the Big North Conference, the Regional Championship and lost in the State Quarterfinals. Our team graduated 11 seniors this past year so our team this year is fairly young and in the rebuilding stages.
I am a hardworking athlete focused not only on the game but academics. My height gives me the competitive edge to be quick on my feet to be a strong defenseman. I can easily play defense or switch it up to center when needed. I am coachable, dedicated and want to become stronger and improve my skillset every game. Practicing 5 days a week is important to me to maintain the competitive edge.
Past team sports throughout my childhood/high school career have been baseball and golf.
I look forward to a possible conversation with you about how I may be an asset to your hockey program.
