Personal Statement
I am a student athlete who has played at nearly every level there is to play as a youth hockey goalie. I began playing at the age of five and quickly fell in love with the game. I would watch Red Wings games and was drawn to watching Dominick Hasek and Chris Osgood. It was then that I fell in love with goaltending and the defensive part of the game.
After a couple seasons of cross ice and squirt house, I began playing goalie full time for the '03 travel team at HAWK. After playing on that team for two seasons, I decided to move up age groups and play for the '02 team at HAWK. I have played at the '02 bantam AA and midget A levels for '01s & '02s.
This coming season, I am playing for Fox Motors u15 AAA. This will be my first season at the AAA level. I plan to continue playing AAA for the next couple of years until a junior or college opportunity presents itself. The main goal is to play college or junior hockey in the future.
