Hockey is a shared passion in my family and I started playing ice at age five. Because of where I grew up in the Central Valley of California, my family had to drive me an average of two to five hours round trip to practice and games. It was during one of these practice trips when, as a first year PeeWee, I told my Grandma that I wanted to play college hockey. We made a pact that would be our goal and my family has continued to support me my quest.
I see playing college hockey as an opportunity to pursue my passion, while receiving a valuable education. In the classroom, I study hard and maintain a high GPA. On the ice, I am a 200-foot player and strive to be one of the hardest working players. My coaches have expressed that I am very coachable and extremely versatile, playing both forward and defense.
I know that playing college hockey is a once in lifetime opportunity. My goal is to attend a college where I can push myself in the classroom, as well as on the ice. I want to find the right college fit and play at, the highest level of competition possible. I hope to become a great role model to my peers and make my family proud.
