Sam Osei '24 Recruiting Profile

I would like to play in college because it's one of the highest levels of hockey all the while pursuing a career. I feel I have more levels to develop as a player and feel through hard work I can reach the highest levels to make a difference on a team. My greatest goal is to be the best hockey player that I can be and live up to the talents and effort that I've been working on since I was five.

I can be an asset to a team through my hardwork and my “can do” attitude . I excel under pressure , I do well in one versus one situations and break the puck out excellently. I have experience in leadership roles as the current Alternate Captain on my team. In hockey, my team first mentality helps us stick together and change the energy of the game.

As far as my educational merits, my hard working virtue from hockey crosses over into my scholastics. I’m an independent worker, and know to get my schoolwork done and to take the effort to do it right. My grades are excellent. I know when to seek out extra help or communicate with the teachers. Academically, I have all A’s and A+’s . I do my homework and am organized so as to not miss assignments.
