Growing up in Minnesota, hockey is a big part of every family’s life. Whether you play, watch or volunteer your time at the rink, every community here has a strong relationship with the sport of hockey. I have been playing hockey since the age of three on the frozen lake in my backyard. Now in my Sophomore year of high school, I am starting to think about hockey opportunities beyond my graduation in 2022. I have learned so much on and off the ice over the years and look forward to carrying my hockey career into college.
As I look forward to college, my goal is to explore a business major that will position me well for an MBA program or international business opportunity. On the ice, I plan to be a dynamic player and be able to contribute as positive leader and influencer on the team. I will work hard physically and mentally to be a valuable asset to the defensive line-up. Between my work ethic (on and off the ice) and my ambition to succeed and contribute at the university level academically and through hockey, I am confident I can be a valuable contributor to your hockey program.
