Personal Statement
One of my favorite memories about being a goaltender in ice hockey is when my team made it to the championship of an invite tournament. When we played, we lost, but I learned an important lesson. The game of hockey is not only about winning, it's about growing and having fun with what you do. That's why I strive to learn and grow, both as an athlete and as a student. On and off the ice I push myself and others to progress exponentially. If given open ice, I will constantly work on basic movements to become more fundamentally sound. I want to play at the college level, where I can make a difference, as well as pursue my dreams.
