Dillon Thomas '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi, my name is Dillon Thomas and I currently play for the Northern Cyclones Academy 16U Premier team. For my freshman and sophomore years of high school, I was enrolled at Trinity High School in Louisville, Kentucky where I held the Steinhauser Scholarship for academic excellence and took multiple AP classes. I was also enrolled in the advanced program at the school where I had a 3.9 out of 4 unweighted GPA and a 5.5 out of 4 weighted GPA. Although I enjoyed excelling in the classroom, I wanted to excel on the ice as well. I took an opportunity and joined the Northern Cyclones hockey academy where I currently am enrolled to graduate a year early and have a 4.0 GPA. I am also taking 3 AP classes while developing my skill on the ice as well. I like to use my size and speed in order to generate offense and can work as a goal-scorer or a playmaker. My personal philosophy is that it doesn't matter how talented a player is, I will always work harder and want it more.
