Hockey is a huge part of my life, there is nothing I rather do than making a big save! I enjoy watching professional hockey games, studying the goaltenders and the different styles and techniques that each has.
During my upcoming Senior year of High School (Class of 2020), I will be playing for the Skylands Jr. Kings of the NA3HL. I am looking forward to the increased level of competition and the full season schedule.
I work hard at improving my game, and I enjoy the opportunity to work one on one with my goalie coach, Coach Mike Valvano. Most recently, and prior to joining the Kings, I played for the NJ Freeze of the NJYHL under Coach Bruce Shatel. I was also the starting goalie for my High School team since my Freshman year, earning all-county all star status in both my Freshman and Sophomore years, and our team's Coaches Award in my Sophomore year. During my Junior year I was named an Alternate Captain for my High School team. During my Sophomore year I led all goalies in saves in the State of New Jersey for the non-public group.
Over the last few years I have developed friendships with players from around the country that I have met while attending summer hockey camps. One of the most enjoyable aspects of walking into a new arena is the possibility of reconnecting with friends - I often find myself spending time after the post-game handshakes talking with players that I know from across the country.
I would like to find an opportunity to play for a college level hockey team next year (I will be 19 in the fall of 2020), but I am also considering playing an additional year of Junior Hockey prior to enrolling in college.
In summary, I am a dedicated hockey player that would love an opportunity to continue playing ice hockey at the college level, and beyond!
