Ayden Adair '22 Recruiting Profile

    Details of my life that have influenced me to be who I am are having good parents, friends, and family. I am blessed to attend a really great school, and have had some of the best teachers, coaches, and mentors along the way. I became interested in hockey when I was 5 years old. I played what we call street hockey, which was in sneakers. I moved to the ice when I was 10. Being strong mentally is one of the most important skills I have acquired through hockey.  As a goalie, you have to have mental toughness to keep your focus. It truly can be challenging, but I have worked hard at maintaining my composure in difficult situations. 

    I believe I am different then most Goaltenders my age in that I have accepted the challenge of playing in older age brackets the last two seasons.  Although these athletes may be bigger, stronger, and faster, I enjoy the speed and intensity this level offers and know it is only making me better for the future.

   Sophomore year has tested my time management skills as the work load has increased.  As seen on my report card, I am driven and continue to focus on my academics to reach my goal of getting into college, and majoring in aeronautical engineering.  Special skills that I posses are a good work ethic, competitive nature,  and determination.
