Charles DiCarlo '22 Recruiting Profile

Since I started playing hockey at a young age, I was known as a leader who communicated well with my coaches and motivated my teammates to achieve success.  All of my coaches would agree that I am hard working, determined student-athlete.  These qualities have resulted in me being recognized as an assistant captain for my high school team.  Apart from hockey, I am involved in volunteer work around my campus at school, and I maintain a healthy social-work life.

The desire to push myself to become a better player on the ice and a better person off is a standout quality which separates me from my peers.  If I make a mistake, I will work harder and harder until I am able to overcome that mistake. I am constantly practicing to perfect my skills and improve myself as a player and person.  When I set a goal for myself, I won’t stop until it is achieved.  My ultimate goal as a student-athlete is to play at either  the junior or collegiate level.  As I conclude my senior year at school, I am still focused on pursuing and playing hockey at a high level into the future.
