Christian Rapattoni '22 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing hockey since I was 8 years old and it is my passion.  

Over the years I have tried to find new ways to challenge myself to become the best player I can.  I have been able to do this by playing up a level at times like playing 16s during my 15 season or playing 18s during my 16 season.  I spend my summers away from home, sometimes weeks at a time, to be able to play at the highest level I can.  Hockey is something I hope to continue to play at the Junior and College level.

As a player, I can play either wing and have done so as long as I have been playing.  I am a winger that enjoys the boards, being in front of the net and taking a hit to make a play. I try to play with an edge but won't take bad penalties.  Working hard on and off the ice is a must and I try to play every shift like it's the only one I may get.  Being a good teammate and helping the team achieve its goal is something that has always been important to me.  On game day I am focussed and I come ready to compete.  

My grades are important to me and I am a good student.  I am proud of my cumulative GPA achieved at my Prep School.  Balancing my schedule has never been an issue as I just find a way to make it work.

Moving forward, I hope to bring my love of the game to Juniors and College and continue to play for as long as I can.
