Personal Statement
As a freshman at Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School I made the varsity ice hockey team. Being one of six freshman chosen to make the team was an honor. Knowing I could learn about playing high school hockey from the upperclassmen was important to me. As the season moved on, I gained an insight on how to work as a team. The older players on the team taught me how to be more serious as we practiced and played the game. I learned how to focus more on the ice to move the puck. The highlight of the season was when I was selected as Rookie of the Year. I learned how much more potential I had to grow and become a better hockey player.
