Jacob Stock '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Jake Stock & I am a highly motivated player with 4 years of experience playing at Tier 1 AAA. I would love the opportunity to further my career at the collegiate level. Along with family & school, hockey has been my passion since I was four years old.  The game of hockey has helped shape me into a responsible & hard working young man. I have a high hockey IQ, along with advanced skill, vision & determination. Furthermore, I pride myself on being coachable, accountable, a good teammate & a leader. I have been a Captain or an Alternate Captain on several of my recent teams. 

A few of my more recent career highlights include:

1. 2022 Penguin Cup Champion (Western Pennsylvania / Pittsburgh's High School Championship). As a sophomore, I helped lead Thomas Jefferson High School to its 1st Penguin Cup in 22 years (Unfortunately we lost  the PA State Final in Double OT).

2. MVP of the 2022  National Scholastic Holiday Showcase

3. 2022/23 PIHL All Star Selection

4. 4th Leading Scorer on the 2022/23 U16 AAA Esmark Stars => 32G & 25A for 57 points in 66 games. I scored the winning goal in the District (Mid AM) semi final game in a Shootout. 

In conclusion, I am confident I can make a positive impact on any team I play for. I embrace playing all 200 feet. In addition, I play on power play, penalty kill & late game situations. I look forward to hearing from any team. As of now, I am leaning towards a Major in Business.
