I have been the underdog my entire hockey career. I've been told more times than I can count that I was not good enough to play at the level that I knew I should be playing at. That always motivated to work harder. After every setback, I took two steps forward reaching higher and higher levels of hockey each year. My goal was to play in the NAHL and then play for a Division 1 college. For years, people laughed at me. Not only do I now play in the NAHL but, after proving myself as a hard worker and leader, I am a first line starter and an assistant captain for my team, the Odessa Jackalopes. I am now only one step away from my ultimate goal of playing for a Division 1 college.
