As a returning veteran, I will be taking a leadership role on the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights in the NAHL this season (2017-2018). I worked very hard last year to develop my skills and skating. I am a skilled power forward that also plays a strong defensive game. As well as being one of the fastest skaters on the team last year, I was first line on the penalty kill. I pride myself on my hockey sense and have been told by scouts that I create offense when there is none. I was also honorable mention 3 times last season for player of the week in the East division.
Here are my stats from last season:
Games Played: 56, Goals: 12, Assists: 20, Points: 32, Plus/Minus: 11
I am very interested in playing college hockey. I have been playing hockey since I was 4 years old and have dreamed of playing college hockey for as long as I can remember. I have worked hard to try to achieve that goal. Throughout my club career, I have always been one of the top scorers on the team. I am very respectful, coachable and have a strong work ethic. I am a team player and have always gotten along with my coaches and my teammates. I think I would be an asset to a college team not only because of my hockey skills, but because I have strong character and have always done well academically. I would welcome the opportunity to discuss how I could be an asset to your hockey team and your college.
