2022 Highlights Personal Statement
I envision my college years to be a period of personal growth as a student and an athlete. My academic goal is to explore a science major that will position me well for a career in sports medicine. As a goalie, I am a dynamic player and a positive influence on the team helping to create the right mental attitude we need to bring for our success. I do believe in continual development and I actively seek out growth opportunities. As I grow both physically and mentally throughout my high school and college career, I will strive to demonstrate ongoing leadership and contribute to the success of the team. Most importantly, I will conduct myself with honesty, integrity and respect on and off the field/ice, knowing that the way I carry myself reflects my team, my coaches and the school I attend.
I take great pride in my academics maintaining an A average through my freshman year of high school. In addition to my perseverance of both academic and athletic success, I am committed to giving back to my community. I have volunteer experience at my public library, youth sports groups and delivering meals during the pandemic.

Are you in honor classes?
Yes. Colchester High School does not designate any courses as "honors classes." As a Sophomore, I am doubling up science by taking Principles of Physics and Experimental Chemistry. I am on track to take AP courses as a Junior/Senior. As a Freshman, I am doubled up in science by taking Earth Systems Science and Experimental Biology (10th grade accelerated course). In addition I took Geometry as a Freshman which is typically taken as a Sophomore.Are you in AP/IB classes?
