William Yao's Hoc...My life changed when I first stepped on the ice at age 6. I started playing hockey at age 7, and have been on the top travel team since age 8. To get to where I am took full effort both on and off the ice, and an unwavering decimation to ice hockey.
As a student at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Fairfax County Virginia, the top STEM public high school in the country, it is imperative to manage my time wisely in order to maintain a high GPA. My work ethic not only apples to academics and athletics, but to other areas as well. I play in the top band at my school, and am a member of my school's Rubik's cube team. During the spring I also run for my school's track & field team..
My goals for the future is to attend a college where I can not only improve myself academically, but also continue to play hockey at the highest level of competition possible.
