My ultimate goal is to play D1 football, lacrosse, and/or hockey at a good school focused on cyber security, computer science, or business. I am a well rounded student athlete having played multiple sports in my youth including both inline and ice hockey, lacrosse, swimming, baseball, wrestling, and soccer. I was a varsity wrestler as a freshman at Westfield High School and was promoted mid season to varsity in both lacrosse and football as a freshman. As a sophomore, I was a co-starter at Defensive End for Westfield High School varsity football 13-1 in Virginia 6A, state semi finalist) and a starting defenseman for our Varsity Men's lacrosse team. I am a leader for my team on and off the field and was designated as an alternate captain for my Ashburn Xtreme Bantam Minor and Major teams. I was a top defenseman on our Ashburn U16 #1 team as a 15-year old (Final Tier-II national ranking #2, CCM World Invite Finalist, West-Michigan Classic Champions, CBHL Champions, EJEPL Diamond Champions, Virginia State Champions, USA Hockey National Qualifier). Heading in to my Junior year of high school, I have already been voted as a team captain by my coaches and peers for the 2020-21 Men's lacrosse season. I am now a junior at Westfield High school taking having enrolled in multiple honors and AP classes throughout my academic career. To date, I have been able to maintain a 3.45 grade point average while playing a full travel hockey schedule and participating in year round varsity level high school sports. Currently, my max bench press and squat are 365 lbs and 475 lbs respectively. Fitness progress can be tracked on instagram (@owenfitness2020) and twitter (@Owen_Thomas55) upon request.
