Without hockey, my life would be completely different. All of my coaches and teammates have helped me grow into the person I am today. It all started when I was six years old and went ice skating for the first time on a field trip. I immediately fell in love with the sport of hockey. The biggest thing that I have learned through hockey is my determination to help others.
My academic goals for high school is to graduate with honors and then go on to college and major in biology. After college I plan to further my education through attending medical school.
The biggest obstacle I have had to face was breaking my leg when I was nine years old during summer skills training. My strongest skills are my ability to learn, my determination to win, and my competitiveness. I would consider myself a team player because I always put my team's success ahead of personal accomplishments.
