Who am I
My name is Michael Shelley, Jr. I am currently playing tier 2 junior hockey for the Connecticut Junior Rangers in the NCDC. I have been playing hockey for thirteen years now; however, I started playing competitive travel hockey nine years ago. Initially, when I started playing at five years old I was a skater. The very next year I was introduced to goaltending and I fell in love with the position immediately. I have been a goalie ever since.
My Goal
My main goal is to play college hockey. I really want to have the full college experience and I want to obtain an education that will give me the building blocks for a successful future once my competitive hockey career is complete.
Why I would Make a Great Candidate for your team
I feel I would be a great candidate for your team because I have played team sports my entire life. While in the team setting I do my best to identify where I am needed, sometimes playing a supportive role for my teammates who need encouragement or serving as a leader on and off the ice. I love being part of a team because it is like your own family, each member encouraging the others as they work towards a common goal.
