My name is Cameron Derham, I am a very hardworking individual, I have only been playing hockey since I was in 6th grade which is nothing compared to everyone that I play with. I really took of with this sport and have enjoyed working myself harder and harder to accomplish my goal like first making the travel team in my area which I achieved in my 3rd season and I have continued improving, I really enjoy this sport and have been very athletic from a young age. I’ve been through almost every sport and nothing has compared to hockey and I genuinely fell in love with the game. I know I want to keep playing and playing hard so I try to improve everywhere I go and I went to many camps. I am also a very good student and I have always excelled in math. I was a 4.0 student through all of my middle school years and am so far 4.0 in high school. I do really well with math and ended up skipping the first honors class in 6th grade so I was taking algebra 1/2 and by my 8th grade year I was finishing up with trigonometry/algebra 3/4 and then I decided to skip pre-calculus and go strait into calculus in which I am top of the class in a class of mostly juniors and seniors. I do really well academically and often help the other kids I’m with to make sure they aren’t left behind, I’m a very helpful person and will do a lot to help a friend or fellow student so that they can succeed in school because I feel like if I am then why shouldn’t everyone come with me so they don’t have to retake classes. I enjoy taking the extra step so that I can be the best and become greater then I was and that’s why I enjoy hockey and would love to continue playing hockey past high school,
