Jonah Lundberg '21 Recruiting Profile

My college goals are to be an elite defenseman for a D1 or top D3 school as I enjoy the challenge of competing against the best in games and practices.  Prior to college, I plan on playing a year of junior hockey.

I have had the privilege in learning the details of the position from some of the best defensive coaches and players.  I am known for having a high hockey IQ that is positionally sound and consistently makes good plays, passes and opportunistic offensively.  I can play in all situations and although I am a right shot I have played extended portions of seasons on both sides.

What I feel makes me different from other recruits is my work ethic and character.  I am a team first player that always makes smart choices and treats people, teammates, and facilities with care.  When I am not studying I am working out, finding extra ice to practice, or at the local rink teaching learn to skate or working the concessions.

Similar to hockey, academically I have challenged myself in the classes I have taken and have achieved good grades with a Tier 1 Elite hockey schedule.
