During my freshman year of high school, I balanced a 3.75 grade point average while playing Varsity Lacrosse, Varsity Wrestling, training and competing in Powerlifting and Strongman Competitions and volunteering at our community homeless soup kitchen, St. Francis Soup Kitchen.
My high school has an accelerated academic program that better prepares us for the rigor of college academics. My favorite subject this year was Biology. I’m excited for next year’s Honors Chemistry class as I prepare myself for the path of Kinesiology and Sports Medicine.
I was a starter for our varsity high school team. As a left-handed defenseman, I bring a solid defensive presence to my team. Teammates have given me the nicknames of “red bull” and “tank”.
Dedicating to playing as much lacrosse as possible and to push myself to a new level, I play on a competitive travel team, South Bay ADVNC. Playing under the direction of Coach and Co-Director, Mike Faby (John Hopkins University/Blue Jays Alumni) I receive college level practices that better prepare me for a higher level of playing at the collegiate level. During my time with ADVNC I’ve been invited to play in many tournaments with the upper classman including the upcoming FLG in 3D Summer Shootout where I will be playing with the 2019 team.
My coaches often praise my work ethic, dedication and pure love of lacrosse. As a player, I am hard-working, competitive, a team-player, and coachable. I have a strong drive to grow and meet new goals for myself and within my team.
I stand out from others because I am a drug-free high school student who is always striving for a better, healthier life. I’m immersed and passionate about high level sports. I’m often the youngest on a team (playing up) or at Powerlifting and Strongman competitions. My character can be best described as confident, strong, mature and driven.
I’m looking for a well-rounded college that offers an excellent lacrosse program (D1-D3) while offering a great education in my field of study of Kinesiology/Sports Medicine. Thanks for looking at my profile and considering me a candidate for your college team.
