Calahan Schieffer '24 Recruiting Profile

I am a hardworking coachable player and dedicated student athlete who is very interested in playing college lacrosse and/or football after high school.  I've played lacrosse for six years, I started playing in the 4th grade. I've played lacrosse at a competitive level since 5th grade.  I also play football and basketball.  In my free time I enjoy skiing, snowmobiling, surfing, golfing and fishing.  I have been one of the starting defensemen for my high school and club team every season.  I am a leader on the field.  I was recently named to the All Star Roster at the Trilogy Academic Aces Showcase, at the Inside Invitational Tournament in Delaware and for the Colorado Prep Lacrosse Summer Session.  I am an excellent student earning top grades in all of my classes.  I attend a backpacking summer camp each year to experience the outdoors unplugged and volunteer through the year at Homeless Shelters and working with the less fortunate in our community.
