Cooper Leonard '25 Recruiting Profile

During my recent 2024 spring season, I faced the adversity of a frustrating hamstring injury. Despite this setback, I was determined to contribute to my team in any way possible. After getting back on the field, I managed to achieve some impressive statistics, including 22 goals and 23 assists in just 7 games. This accounted for approximately 35% of our team's offensive production during these games.  I feel this showcased my ability to make a substantial impact on the field despite the “shortened season” for me.

Beyond statistics, my commitment to lacrosse extends to my personal development and character. Working closely with my coaches on the sideline during my injury I have learned invaluable lessons in teamwork, sportsmanship, determination and a more comprehensive knowledge of the game.  These experiences continue to make me into a more resilient and disciplined athlete.  I feel this only helps me prepare to contribute to a collegiate team both on and off the field.

Looking ahead, I am eager to further elevate my skills, passion, and work ethic for my Senior season in 2025.   I am confident that my ability to perform under pressure and my commitment to continuous improvement make me a strong candidate for any team.   I am excited about the opportunity to further my academic and athletic journey at the collegiate level.
