Personal Statement
I believe that what you get out of life is based on the effort you put in, and this sums up how I play the game of lacrosse. Just like a good midfielder must be, I am a well-rounded player with the ability to score, feed my teammates, play defense, and get ground balls, which is one of my strengths. I have been part of 3D NE South club team since 6th grade, competing against high level talent and learning from outstanding coaches. Through hard work and determination, I was able to become a varsity letterman as a freshman on the Southington High School Lacrosse team. I am a multi-sport athlete – playing football third grade through sophomore year.
I currently have a 4.4 GPA with most of my classes at the Honors and AP level. I was accepted into “Project Lead the Way" at Southington High School. Through Project Lead the Way, I take honors engineering courses each year which earn college credit. On top of school and sports, I am an active volunteer for Bread for Life and spent time this summer mentoring elementary and middle school kids during their lunch outreach program.
