For the past six years, I have committed to becoming the best student-athlete possible and serving as a great teammate, on and off the field.
I am a coachable player with a keen interest to learn. I work hard to improve myself and my game - physically, mentally, and academically - during every practice, game, and class.
I have been able to convert my passion and commitment into recent selections to the 2021 Under Armour South team and the 2021 i95 Team Pangea team.
I play both attack and midfield but, since my freshman year, I have been specializing in the Face-off (Stay-on) role because of the importance of team possession but also because I enjoy the competitiveness of the position.
I have been able to quickly excel in the standing neutral grip stance by taking many reps and learning from some current and past pro players such as Max Adler, Greg Gurenlian, Noah Rak, Casey Dowd, Trevor Baptiste, TD Ierlan, and Joe Nardella. However, I know I must continue to work on increasing my speed and technique in order to continue to develop and become a solid contributor to my team.
Away from the "X", I have been working on my strength, conditioning, and hand speed. Since Choate"s Founders League did not have a 2020 or 2021 season, I am participating in as many summer lax tournaments with my 2 Way Club and Long Island Sting teams and individually at lax showcases to have fun and continue to work on becoming an elite player.
Academically, I am an honors history student and was chosen to join the selective John F. Kennedy Honors Program at Choate on Government and Public Service for my junior and senior years.
I respect my coaches and know that with dedication, I can continue to grow my excellence at the face-off position to help my team win and have fun. I hope to play at a university to further my love for the sport and be a great team leader.
