Hi Coaches,
I love to play lacrosse. Hitting the wall, playing with friends, off-season with my Clubs and at my High School. I enjoy learning new skills from my coaches, then using it for competition and to help others on my team (and neighborhood) improve their skills too. I look forward to learning from a college coaching staff and working as one team to be reach our full potential.
I am very active with sports beyond Varsity Lacrosse. I credit my quick and agile feet from being a Varsity Football Defensive Linebacker (All-Academic with TCHS). I also credit my strong hand placement from my earned Black Belt in Karate. I also play sand-volleyball and race in lots of 5Ks with my family. I also am very dedicated to weight-lifting and proper nutrition.
Academically, my plans include graduating at the top of my class for Pre-Med/Pre-Health with an emphasis in Neuroscience. My interests shifted in November 2019 when my sister had a brain tumor removed. Due to her complications, I started to learn more about about neuro & pain management treatments. My intention is to one day be a Neurosurgeon. Specifically, I would like to help injured patients by figuring out how to control neurons to help with body movement and pain management. My theory: If you go small enough, you can fix anything (even severed nerves).
When not studying or playing sports, I volunteer in my community and enjoy spending time with my family and friends.
Thank you ,
Nick
