I am a lacrosse player with an unconventional background. I began playing lacrosse at age 5 in Oregon. I was placed on a select team as soon as I was eligible at age 8. I enjoyed traveling with my club lacrosse teams, and I also represented 3d Pacific numerous times. When I was 13, my family moved to Singapore. I played for the Singapore Mens National Team which consists of past collegiate and MLL players. We played in tournaments throughout Asia and Australia against other mens teams. These teams include many FIL players and the tournaments were played at a D3 level and above. I rose to this level through hard work and by challenging myself against bigger and stronger players. This experience has readied me to be a top college athlete. In Asia, I was picked up by several teams (Beijing, Thailand, Malaysia) to play tournaments with them. I developed a following of young players who come to watch me play in the tournaments.
For me, education always comes first. I am looking for a school that has a strong biology or chemistry program as well as a D1 or D3 lacrosse program. I have always excelled in math and science. My family moved back to the United States in 2021 and I am currently attending Cathedral High School in Indianapolis. Cathedral is a top academic prep school where I am enrolled in a number of honors classes. This summer, I was nominated and will be attending the National Youth Leadership Forum on Advanced Medicine and Health Care at Johns Hopkins. Cathedral also is one of the top lacrosse schools in the Midwest. We play the toughest schedule in the midwest (including Culver Prep, Moeller, Saint Xavier, etc.). I am a sophomore middie on the starting varsity line.
I am a natural leader both on and off the field. However, I am also a loyal team member who plays for the good of the team and not for myself. On a team, I value the assist as much as the goal with my focus on team success. I am coachable and I learn from my experiences. In addition, I always put in the work, push myself and those around me to become better. I am a versatile offensive player with a great field IQ. I am very excited to continue my lacrosse career in college.
