Matthew Hahn '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Matthew Hahn and I am from Cumberland, Maine. I have been playing lacrosse since the third grade. I am a rising junior at Cheverus High School in Portland, Maine, where I have started on the varsity lacrosse team since my freshman year. I was recently named to the Southwestern Maine Activities Association All-Conference Team "honorable mention" at the conclusion of my sophomore season. In addition to playing for Cheverus, I have played travel lacrosse for Maine Mussels for three years. As a team, we have traveled to numerous invitational tournaments in the northeast, some of which have been held at Yale University, Bryant University, and Plymouth State University. Playing for Maine Mussels has improved me as a player and has fostered my desire to play at a higher level. Up until recently, I was a three sport athlete and competed in soccer and swimming in addition to lacrosse. However, my experience playing lacrosse over the years has grown my passion for the sport and has ultimately led me to the decision to focus solely on lacrosse. In the fall of 2023, I anticipate playing for Maine Select, which is the premier club team in Maine. I am very passionate about the sport and I fully intend to further my academic and lacrosse career at the collegiate level.
