Hello, my name is Aaron J. Scott. I am currently 5'8", 160 pounds. I run a 4.9, 40 yard dash. I first started playing lacrosse when I began 5th grade and have been addicted to it ever since. As a freshman I was pulled up to the varsity team, and as a sophomore I made the All-County Lacrosse team for Defense. This winter I plan on playing in an indoor lacrosse league called Maine Premiere Indoor Lacrosse. Through playing varsity football for 4 years, I can say that any size match up will not affect the amount of willingness I have to go one on one or fight for ground balls. I see myself as a leader on and off the field, with comradery and discipline. My love for lacrosse always has me wanting to get better at every aspect of the game. This is what makes me feel like I could fit in and play for any lacrosse team. Since I lived in Southwestern Pennsylvania until 5th grade, and have lived in Maine for the past 8 years, where the weather can be beautiful and sunny one day, cold and rainy the next, and where snow storms are expected, I am not very picky on school locations due to weather. Regionally my first preference is New England, but I am also open to Mid-Atlantic schools. I currently am looking at a mix between big/small schools at any divisional or club level. My main preference academically has me oriented toward looking at smaller schools that offer a very good, broad education that I can graduate from saying "those 4 years were the best four years I've ever had, academically and athletically." Economically, my family has had FAFSA funds for my older brother who is in his final year at Bryant University, and we will be completing FAFSA applications for me. Currently I am still undecided as to what I want to major in, but have narrowed my choices between a major in Biology or Culinary Arts/business degree. As an incoming freshman to any team, my main goal will be to prove that I belong on the team as a friend and a player and that I am 100% committed to the team and 100% dedicated to whom ever coaches me. Thank you.
