Personal Statement

PERSONAL STATEMENT

I'm Andrew, a 17-year-old student-athlete at Pioneer Valley Chinese Immersion School, enrolled in the IB program. Though my school doesn't offer lacrosse, I play with the 2Way club in Connecticut and also participate in varsity cross country, alpine skiing, and ultimate frisbee.

These diverse sports have made me adaptable, quick-thinking, and resilient. I give my all, whether I'm on the lacrosse field, ski slopes, or frisbee pitch. Academically, I've held my own in the demanding IB program and the cultural learning that comes with studying Chinese.

In college, I hope to bring my work ethic, athletic skills, and academic commitment to your lacrosse team. I believe my mix of sports and study, along with my immersion school experience, gives me an edge. I look forward to contributing these unique assets to your program.
