Declan FitzPatrick '19 Recruiting Profile

I have started on both the varsity hockey and lacrosse teams at Lunenburg High School since my 8th grade year. I have been selected a Mid-Wachusett First Team All-Star three times, a Central Massachusetts All-Star twice, and a Worcester Telegram and Gazette All-Star once.  That being said, the highlight of my high school career, to date, was leading my team to a second place finish in our division and making the Division 3 play-offs.  Each year I have led the team in scoring, split almost equally between goals and assists, and I am now the all-time leading scorer in school history. I am a leader on the field and off, and I am always looking to make my team and my teammates better. I have good vision, see the field well, move well off-ball, and I am an off-ball finisher. 

I believe I have the talent to compete at the college level, and more importantly I possess the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact.  As a two sport athlete, an honors scholar, and a leader whose peers recognized as a captain in only my sophomore year, I have what it takes to be a leader in your program. My objective is to find an academic institution that will challenge me to excel both in the classroom and on the field.
