I picked up my first lacrosse stick at the age of 7, and I fell in love with the sport and community built behind it ever since. Lacrosse and athletic activities alike have been an escape for me. Nothing compares to the thrill of a good lacrosse game, or even a competitive practice.
I started playing club lacrosse in 3rd grade. I shifted toward playing on the defensive side of the field, so by the end of 4th grade I received my first long-pole and started playing close-defense. Although over the years I've gained experience in other spots, Defense has always been and always will be my number one position, as it suits my playstyle and mindset perfectly; always grinding to lock someone down. Grinding, whether it is competing hard in games or practice, running sprints, lifting, footwork drills, or wallball, is part of my identity. It's not always "fun", but it's something I have convinced my brain to love and crave for more. Embracing the pain is what creates champions.
My biggest goal in life currently is to be recruited to a college and to take my academic and lacrosse career to the next level. I strive to play for an athletically and academically competitive school. I want to be a part of an amazing lacrosse program, and to contribute to the team as much as I possibly can. I desire to major in a biology sub-sect. Academics are important to me and will always be one of my top priorities.
I appreciate you investing your time and energy in reading this. It means the whole world to me, and I hope I can have an outstanding future with your team and college.
