Paul Stapleton '26 Recruiting Profile

My name is Paul Stapleton. I was born on November 21 2007 And live in Grosse Pointe Woods Michigan. All my life I’ve been surrounded by hardworking people who have guided me to be the person I am today. I played hockey and golf all my life and later got into the sport of lacrosse and man I fell in love with it. Once I got introduced to it in middle school I knew this is what I wanted to do. 

Starting in 8th I knew I had to catch up to the kids that will be going to Brother Rice becuase I wanted to be the best, so I started working. Never in my life have I wanted to do something so badly. Lacrosse means a lot to me and nothings better than winning games with your buddy’s. I play Long stick midfielder (LSM) and Close Defense. Everywhere I’ve gone to play lacrosse I’ve had to fight for a spot, starting late I had to work even harder than everyone else and I’m not afraid to do that. Not starting my 8th grade year in the beginning to becoming a starter my 9th grade year at the best lacrosse high school in the state of Michigan.

My goal is to play at the next level and make an impact. I want to grow the game of lacrosse and make my mark on the sport. I also strive to have a good education. I want to be able to play lacrosse at a school where I know I’ll make an impact and give myself a great education.
