Daniel Alicea '21 Recruiting Profile

Dear Coaches and whoever looks at my page.

My name is Dan Alicea . I am currently 17 years of age and an rising junior. My graduating class is 2021 and I’m Defender, currently playing for Wayne Hills High School lacrosse in Wayne New Jersey. I started Jv lacrosse  last year and made varsity this year, but sadly the season was canceled. Over the years I have played every position in the game of lacrosse, except goalie, making me a very versatile player. I have also played 3 games of varsity last year after being called up by our head coach Marc Jacobson.

I am beginning to explore my college options and am very interested attending and playing Lacrosse at D2 and D3 Universities. I am currently looking for a school that not only will allow me to continue my dreams to play collegiate lacrosse but to alway be able to pursue a career in physical therapy and sports medicine

I am a 5-6ft and 155 lbs sophomore. I started out playing football but I later took on the spring sport of lacrosse after watching my cousins play it when I was in the third grade, from that day on I knew I wanted to play lacrosse on a collegiate level. I continue playing both football and lacrosse up until the end of my sophomore year of high school, at this time I made the decision to focus on my passion, the game of lacrosse.

As of right now my max bench press is 190lbs, my max squat is 280lbs, and my max deadlift is 345bs. I won JV defensive MVP as a sophomore.
