Personal Statement

I am a high academic, high character prospect. I have a 4.0 GPA in advanced courses at a college-prep high school and a 36 ACT score.  On the field, I am an intelligent, unselfish player.  I am a pass-first X attack but I also have the change of direction and physical strength to dodge to the crease.  I am proud that I have developed my game although my school (in Brooklyn, NY) does not have a lacrosse program. I only play club lacrosse and supplement my training and development on my own.  Despite that challenge, I was able to make the all-star team at last year's Elite 100 showcase. I think I can continue to become a better, more complete player and am looking for a high academic school where I can benefit from the  coaching to reach that goal and contribute to the team's success.  I think I have a lot to offer to any program in terms of effort, commitment and character.
