Braeden McNeill '21 Recruiting Profile

My name is Braeden McNeill and I am 2021 attackman at West Genesee High School in Camillus, NY. I am looking for a school that will best fit me athletically and academically as I pursue my dream of playing college lacrosse at the next level. I have learned a lot of valuable life lessons throughout my playing career such as leadership, responsibility, integrity, and most of all hard work. I have also faced a lot of adversity such as being cut from teams I worked for months to play on, and have had to learn from those lessons and push myself harder to be a better player. I like to think of myself as an extremely hard worker, a leader, a true competitor, and a player who is never satisfied nor gets complacent. These characteristics show through my honors as captain throughout not just my lacrosse career, but football and hockey as well. Last spring (2019), I was the captain of the JV lacrosse team at West Genesee and lead the team in points, goals, assists, and ground balls while averaging 4.9 points per game. I also pride myself on my ability to compete in the classroom. My most recent overall GPA is 98.02, and some of my academic accolades include High Honor Roll, Vice President of my class, Scholar Athlete, and most recently being accepted into National Honor Society. I plan on studying Sports Management and/or Business/Marketing in college.
