Personal Statement
I first became interested in lacrosse when my friends on my hockey team told me to come to practice and try it out. I ended up loving it and when the coach asked who wanted to play goalie I volunteered. Playing goalie has taught me a lot. I’ve learned to move on from little mistakes and focus on the end goal. I have also learned to be more of a leader because of directing the defense.
My goal for college is to play at a school where I will be challenged yet still get the playing time I’m looking for. I feel like I have a lot to contribute to the team on and off the field and I will always do my best to make sure the team progresses.
