Mason Langworthy '26 Recruiting Profile

Hi, 

I'm Mason Langworthy, rising Senior at Philip Simmons High School.  2025 Defensive Player of the year. A late bloomer to the game, I started playing LAX in 2024 for my high school Varsity Team. Since then I've continued my hard work starting and playing every game. It is my job to run the defense and was also the first Jr. co-captain on our team. If you notice in my highlight videos you will often see my pointing and directing other team members to coverage and gaps. I am able to play both LSM and defense. My summers are spend with LAX workouts, camps, and pick up games. I am unable to commit to a full-time travel team as I also must split my time between work and finishing my private pilot license. It would be a real honor to be able to play in college. In addition to practicing daily, I follow a protein rich diet and weight-lift consistently. Bench: 150, Squat: 250, Power Clean: 165, Deadlift: 290 

My intended major is aviation (piloting). 

Outside of school I run my churches slides on Sundays for service. During concert season on the island I run a small business shuttling people from their cars to the gate as well as work at the community pools as an attendant. In the fall I coach rec flag football.  I've been blessed to have a wonderful family and a great group of friends for a great support system. 

I'm open to opportunities and thrive on the ability to learn and explore.  If given a chance, I will not disappoint.
