For me, college is the next milestone in my life. I strive to obtain the opportunities that attending a collegiate program offers, not only for the benefits it provides for maintaining a livelihood, but for the additional social exposure that comes with the "college experience". To achieve this goal of mine I have pushed myself to become as well rounded as I can be; being in my high school's STEM program while attending all possible honors and AP level classes, being well versed in theater, yet despite my rigorous curriculum, I still find the time to play lacrosse on both the high school and club levels. These experiences have molded me into the well-versed student athlete that I strive to be, as each lesson learned in one subject can be used within another. Because of this, I personally feel like I have developed into a natural leader; one who understands when it is time to lead by example and when it is time to hear out the interest of others. When I find myself not in a leadership role, my proclivity to quickly become an adept person in any field of study allows me to develop and retain information when first given, making me a teachable and coach-able person. Overall, my ability to perform academically warrants no concern for my eligibility to play. I personally believe that it is my drive to achieve high standard goals, that I place on myself, that makes me a unique asset to a workplace, a campus, or a team.
